![]() ![]() ![]() I know there is alredy a starfox 2-d game, but this is kinda my own personal fangame. Or the fangame section (since its a fangame) Well be making an animated spike to get accustomed to the editor, so select image 0 (the spike image), and then click the copy button (the two sheets of paper) and the paste button (clipboard with paper) to create a second image frame (yes, ctrl-c/ctrl-v works). Hover over all the buttons on the toolbar to figure out what they do. ![]() I dont know if this should go in the graphics section( since i need SPRITES) Click Edit Sprite to get the Sprite Editor window. I have a relly crappy looking Arwing but thats it for ships. Lastly, the only sprites i do have are the ground sprites: If you want to sprite something, i can get you refs. Yeah, it sucks so if you know where i can get star fox sprites, or if you are willing to make some. (ts a remake of Assault) until i get some real sprites though, im using things like this for all the ships: My code is a mess.Im making a fangame and its coming along well, almost got the 2nd to the last level done (where you have to destroy all the hatchers to shut off the shield). You should try using that next time you want to rip sprites from this game. The game's menu is pretty basic rn, i plan on separating it into it's own cart and do some cartdata wizardry so that we have different saves and continues(i don't think this will be hard, just time-consuming)Īs of now, the levels are taking a good ammount of map data, but IWBTG is a HUGE game and it won't fit whole into a single cart, the plan is to divide the map into sections and load these into the map memory as they're needed, but the method to do so is still being looked at as idk if i will have enough chars(or tokens lol) to do it the usual way once the whole game's code is in there, and i don't want to just multi-cart it. PC / Computer - I Wanna Be The Guy - The Guy First Form - The 1 source for video game sprites on the internet Wiki Sprites Models Textures Sounds. the next step going foward is to separate the bosses and heavy rooms(tetris) into their own carts that way we will be able to afford more accurate bosses without losing too much(only that cart loading time) The bosses of IWBTG are GIGANTIC in sprites AND code. ![]()
